Gambino x Chano!
Yesterday, Donald Glover made history at The Emmys, becoming the first black person to win best director for a comedy. As well as scoring the best lead actor in a comedy for his Atlanta series, he took time after the event to give an update on something fans have been waiting for.
During questions, Childish Gambino jokingly addressed the status of his mixtape with Chance the Rapper, saying it’s still coming. While he didn’t offer up a pending release window, Glover said that if he didn’t drop it soon, a bunch of 14-year-old kids would beat his ass.
Well, considering this is the first time he’s publicly commented on the project, we’re hopeful the two find time this fourth quarter to bless the world with new content. Peep the video below.
