Man, we can’t even front. That last Childish Gambino track (see: “Me and Your Mama“) has been getting mad burn. It’s crack. Looks like Donald Glover is sticking to that old school sound on “Redbone” too, the newest release from Awaken, My Love! due out December 2. The funky record is straight out of the ’70s with it, with a hint of that Jaco Pastorius “Portrait of Tracy” sample. We know you’ve heard it before. Is that Gambino singing with a sped up voice, though?
