This isn’t the first time Childish Gambino has used a diner as the location for a music video (see: “Sweatpants“). This time, he tries to work his way into the mind of a girl, using a lot of dancing and hand gestures in his “Sober” visual, taken from the recent Kauai EP. Despite showing no interest at first, the girl eventually comes around after a piece of magic. Glover’s charm brings her to her feet, but it’s far from a happy ever after.
