Pro Era’s Chuck Strangers is the latest to take part in Mass Appeal’s ‘Rhythm Roulette’ series, following the release of his debut album Consumers Park last month.
The Brooklyn rapper/producer hit up Good Records, NYC with a blindfold on, picking out three records: The Impressions’ Three the Hard Way, Charles Wright’s Rhythm and Poetry and Bill Perry’s Songs. Chuck flicked through what he had to work with, and ended up chopping up the Impressions album to make a soulful beat.
A hangover and torrential downpour wasn’t going to stop him producing the goods.
