We’re always keeping an ear out to the newness in R&B and we came across the name Cleo Sol a few weeks back. Without hearing a song or knowing who she was, we saved her album for later listening. We finally got around to listening to her new Rose In the Dark album and it’s pure, unadulterated fire. We were incredibly surprised by the project, which has a mixture of throwback-sounding ‘90s records, ballads and a sprinkle of jazz. Either way, it’s a project you should definitely check out and out into your rotation.
