Jeffrey Alexander, known professionally as 22Gz, is an American rapper from the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York. He is credited as a pioneer of the Brooklyn drill scene. In 2020, he releases Growth & Development. “Growth & Development is an homage to my truth and a testament to all of the hard work in the past couple of years,” he states. “I’m cleaning up my reputation, making the best music I can, and growing and developing as an artist. There’s a lot of personal development too. I changed my life. I spent time perfecting what I do. It’s more lyrical.”
