This Friday, Tel Aviv/Los Angeles producer Cohenbeats will release his debut album titled Daily Affirmations on Stones Throw. The instrumental album will feature 22 tracks in total, and just like Knxwledge and Mndsgn, continues the legacy of the likes of Madlib and J Dilla on the label.
Ahead of its release later this week, he’s sharing the title track, which features raps from Detroit’s own Quelle Chris. “The song—which talks about believing in yourself—really spoke to me deeply,” Cohenbeats says. “In a way, each beat I make is like a daily affirmation for me. A reminder to keep going and do what I love.”
March 10th is the date to remember.
