Consequence is dropping weekly freestyles at the moment for his “Where Hip-Hop Lives” series, presented by NYC Hot 97’s DJ Enuff and LA Power 106’s J Cruz. The latest entry sees him spitting over Group Home’s “Tha Realness” from the 1995 album Livin’ Proof, which is of course produced by DJ Premier.
Previous releases have seen Cons rap over classics from The Pharcyde, MC Lyte, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth and Diamond D & The Psychotic Neurotics.
