Since making her long-awaited return, Corinne Bailey has released “Been to the Moon,” “Green Aphrodisiac” and “Stop Where You Are,” with each track offering something a little different from the one before. Today, she’s sharing another new song called “Hey, I Won’t Break Your Heart,” which, against the way of the title, sounds like it’ll be breaking a fans’ hearts.
“This song is about vulnerability, moving out of bitterness into sweetness, love the second time around with the same person,” says Corinne. “I love the image of standing in a new dress, feeling like a teenager waiting to meet someone whom you actually already know very well.”
Her new album The Heart Speaks in Whispers arrives May 13th.
