Cozz certainly broke out into the limelight after he signed with J. Cole‘s Dreamville label and released his debut album Cozz & Effect. Three years after the fact, following multiple tours, a mixtape and plenty of more experience, Cody Macc returns with his sophomore effort EFFECTED. On paper, he’s got some huge names even though he’s keeping it light. Cole World, Kendrick Lamar and Curren$y all show up on the project, so you’ll get a good dose of Cozz throughout the album, which will certainly have a good range of sounds from the Western Ave. representer.
If you’ve fucked with Cody for a minute, you know what he has in store. Bars, story telling and plenty of that West Coast vibe.
