Ever since DaBaby released his “Suge” single, it’s been lights out for his career. It’s been evident by the guest appearances he’s been doing, including that mean mainstream look by Lizzo on that smash “Truth Hurts” single. Though he dropped his Baby on Baby album earlier this year, the North Carolina rapper is already working on the next project for the streets.
In an interview with 16Bars, Baby shared that his follow-up will be titled Kirk, which was inspired by his real name Jonathan Lyndale Kirk. He didn’t quite specify when it was dropping but we’re sure by the time it drops, the stock will be higher.
Throughout the rest of his interview, he spoke on his success, his time spent traveling overseas and more.
UPDATE: DaBaby tells Charlie Sloth on Beats 1 that his album will feature Migos, Chance the Rapper, but he wouldn’t reveal any more. Plus, the album is due out in 3-4 weeks, according to what he told the host.
