Due to him saying those controversial comments last year about a particular community, the North Carolina rapper’s past is being brought back up. The controversial rapper was cleared of killing Jaylin Craig in a Walmart, through self-defense.
So far, DaBaby has been under fire for the leaked footage emerging, including people saying he didn’t act in self-defense. While no audio was included through the footage, you can get a sense of why the public is paying close attention to this situation now.
LaWanda Horsley (Jaylin Craig’s mother) spoke with Rolling Stone about the incident saying, “I feel like they just swept it up under the rug. Kirk knows what he did. I’m not doing this for no fame or anything, because at the end of the day, Jaylin Craig is gone.”
