Dame Dash responds JAY-Z Rock Hall of Fame acknowledgement, while the two have their legal situation at the moment over Reasonable Doubt. Over the weekend, JAY-Z was formally inducted into the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall-of-Fame.

While receiving his flowers from fans and the industry, Jigga thanked everybody that was instrumental in helping him start his life after the streets. Shockingly, one person he thanked and acknowledged was Dame Dash, where Jay kept in real on coming into the rap game with him and Biggs Hoffa.

In a conversation with Page Six of the NY Post, Dame went to say, “It was beautiful. I’m glad he said it for the culture. We need to squash everything. So hopefully if that was an extended olive branch, I’ll spin one back. I have no beef with him if he has no beef with me. Let’s get the lawyers out of it then. Let’s talk like men, but I definitely appreciate it.”

While it’s doubtful the two will ever work together again, the two could at least have a private conversation and discuss the Reasonable Doubt NFT situation, that has become legal. During the lawsuit from Jay-Z and Roc Nation, Dash called him a liar and a bully.

Dame continued on saying, “I would never want you to think that we have to go to the court to resolve anything. We can talk it out and the culture needs to see two strong black men working out a problem. Even if they worked together, they could go their separate ways they can still be cool. He said that he’s always considered the rapper to be a brother. We should not be divided. We have accomplished too much to be beefing… There isn’t no way I’m never going to not consider him my brother — it’s just that we don’t see eye-to-eye.”
