MF DOOM and Danger Mouse joined forces as DANGERDOOM back in 2005 to release a collaborative album called The Mouse and the Mask.
This week, the producer is diving into the vault to share a song called “Ninjarous.” The track is a collaboration with the late Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse, along with Patrick Carney of the Black Keys on drums.
“Mark [Linkous] and I worked on a lot of music together,” Danger Mouse told Exclaim. “But it was the song that he and I wrote and recorded with MF DOOM that really resonated with him. It was one of his favorites, so I’m happy to have this opportunity to pay tribute to him by getting it out there.”
“Ninjarous” is taken from upcoming 30th Century Records, Vol. 2 compilation, due out December 6th.
