If you need that straight R&B that could potentially set the mood off in the late night, look no further than Daniel Caesar‘s new one. The boy breaks it down over some funky production by Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett on “Get You,” marveling at the fact that he got the girl. He’s as surprised as anyone. Not to mention the fact that Kali Uchis appears to bring that shorty perspective to the track. It’s truly for the lovers (or those who are looking forward to getting that feeling again).
Daniel is really getting better and if this is what he’s got on deck with the major label debut, he’s going to have one hell of an effort. On an already good year for the genre.
