De La Soul are finally releasing their new Kickstarter-funded album And the Anonymous Nobody at the end of month. The project is full of greats from many generations, from David Byrne to Damon Albarn to Usher, and the trio have already released four of the 17 tracks.
For easily the most soul-hitting track yet, the trio link up with Little Dragon on “Drawn.” The song is drawn out for over five minutes, with Yukimi’s vocals covering the majority before a verse comes in at the end. More than anything, the song is about capturing a feeling.
