Deconstructed with Buddah Bless: The Making of Travis Scott & Quavo’s “Modern Slavery”

Over the course of the past year, Buddah Bless has leveled up and worked with some of your favorite artists on various records. You know when you hear that “Buddah Bless this beat” tag at the beginning of a song, it’s fire.

Everyone from Young Dolph, 2 Chainz, Quavo, Travis Scott and more has worked with the producer and in this segment of Deconstructed, he breaks down the beat he made for “Modern Slavery” off that Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho album. As you can see from the clip, he reveals how he found the Otis Redding sample and why he didn’t change it to begin with. He also shows how he chopped the track to what we hear now.

The best part is at the end when he mimicked Migos and 2 Chainz flow flawlessly. Has he thought about rapping before? Because that freestyle was too good.
