It’s been a long time coming. Just like that, Defari is back with the release of Rare Poise, his first album in 11 years following 2006’s Street Music.
The Cali rapper’s comeback project is made up of 14 new tracks, produced entirely by his right-hand man, Evidence. Defari is on the slick, storytelling raps fans know best, but he’s not alone – features include Krondon, Rakaa Iriscience, Phil tha Agony, Brew, and of course, there’s some bars from Ev himself.
