As G.O.O.D. Music’s own Desiigner prepares to go on tour with the new single out, he stopped by Funkmaster Flex’s show on Hot 97 to talk about some of the backstory of how he got into rapping.
During their half hour conversation, the “Panda” rapper opened up about being Sid The Kid in the beginning, when he met Phresher, and how his smash single caused mad labels to holler at him about signing (11 to be exact). He also told the story about how he met Kanye West for the first time at LAX and he played him “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2” then went to the studio with Mike Dean to cook up some more music.
