We’ve gotten a good glimpse of Mary J. Blige‘s life through her music over the course of a few decades, but now her life will become an Amazon Prime Video documentary, which will be executive produced by Diddy.
Amazon Studios and Entertainment One will begin work on the yet-untitled project, that will be directed by Vanessa Roth.
The documentary promises a raw and personal view of Blige’s career, that flourished after poverty, abuse and addiction. It’ll be an honest look at Mary’s journey from heartbreak and struggle to redemption and healing.
