It’s been less than two months since the rap world lost Digital Underground‘s legendary Shock G. Now, his cause of death has been revealed and it’s a sad one.
According to TMZ, Gregory Edward Jacobs died from an accidental overdose. In his body was a deadly mix of fentanyl, ethanol (alcohol) and methamphetamine, as told by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner. Shock was found unresponsive in his Tampa holtel on April 22 and was last seen the day before he died. A hotel manager became worried when the rapper missed his checkout time and he immediately called 911.
As part of Digital Underground, Shock had plenty of hits and introduced the world to the talents of 2pac.
