Dizzee Rascal has been pumping out pop and house hits in recent years, but that’s not so much of a bad thing. On his new album Raskit, though, he’s getting back to the grime and hip-hop sound that birthed him on Boy in da Corner and Showtime.
The album is out today and available to stream, made up of 16 tracks with no features. “I wanted to use what I’ve learned to make the best rap album I could, with no hands in the air moments, just using as much English slang as I could over the best beats I could find,” he says about the project. Producers include Valentino Khan, Salva, and Cardo.
