During the midst of the Joe Budden exit from Everyday Struggle, DJ Akademiks has spent time away from Complex readying his debut in the rap game. Yes, Ak is taking a new music career very serious, and even has confirmed that he has a mixtape on the way. The sixth borough native was on IG live over the weekend and previewed his first song for the public. While it’s unclear when he’ll roll-out the content, it looks like his material will feature a heavy inclusion of auto-tune.
