DMX ‘Exodus 1:7’ album arrives as his first album since 2012 and return to Def Jam Records one last time. A month after the passing of the legendary Yonkers rapper, the estate of Mr. Earl Simmons puts together a new 13-track project. The title is in reference to his youngest son, as well as a Bible verse of the exact name.

Serving as his eighth studio album, its also follow-up to his 2012 Undisputed project, which was first teased in early 2019. Guest features come from Nas, The Lox, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Bono, The Cross, Icepick, Infared, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, Snoop Dogg, Exodus, dEnAun, Usher, Brian King Jospeh and more.

Earl Simmons, known by his stage name DMX, was an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998, to both critical acclaim and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release.
