Just 48 hours ago, Future’s Toronto Nobody Safe Tour made the Canadian stretch of its road run; as opener Tory Lanez was back home to perform for his people. Well, Freebandz affiliate, Drake, was present for the festivities. During the show, he and Lanez ran into each other backstage to discuss their issues; and come up with a resolution for making peace within their small city.
Prior to the events of this week, the 6-God finally let it be known that he had issues on “Two Birds, One Stone,” with multiple jabs at his previous north of the border foe. However, Drizzy had a change of heart on his More Life project earlier this spring saying – “The city gets stronger when everybody is speaking. Not when everybody out here beefing. We got it, now we just gotta keep it.”
Well, to ensure that their rich city of music and culture remains in-tact, the two premier artists from the 6 told the public that there was no more animosity. With this rift now in the past, we’re hoping the two eventually work on some possible music content down the line.
