Drake Salutes Kendrick Lamar for ‘DAMN’ Sales & Welcomes Single with J. Cole

ARE THE KENDRICK AND J. COLE VOCALS IN?!?!?!?

With Drake enjoying some much-needed rest, after the release of his More Life album and Boy Meets World Tour earlier this spring, he’s sending a few subliminal messages through social media.

Last week, Kendrick Lamar dethroned him for the highest 2017 first week album sales of any genre, at 600,000 sales for the release of DAMN. Well, the Kung Fu Kenny train isn’t looking to slow down, as he sold an additional 230,000 in week two, with the 6-God right behind at 77K.

After witnessing the numbers, Drizzy left a congratulatory message saying, “Amazing to see our music moving.” Nearly four years ago, K. Dot took aim at the entire collective of modern-day rappers on Big Sean’s controversial 2013 street release, Control.” Well, Drizzy refused to directly respond to his former music friend on wax, saying Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So, when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”

Surprisingly, the music rift was defused early 2016, when Kenny gave The Boy props for his double-album releases (IYRTI and WATTBA) in 2015 on GRAMMYs weekend.

Before leaving social media for the weekend, the 6-God liked a proposal idea, of him collaboration with Dot and J. Cole – serving as the next major single for DJ Khaled’s upcoming Grateful album.

With the #DrakeVocals finally in, it looks like Kilo may have to put focus on looking to land an impossible single with three of the biggest musicians this generation. Peep the media content below.
