Drake Didn’t Submit ‘More Life’ for Grammy Consideration

According to reports, Drake hasn’t submitted More Life for consideration at the 2018 Grammy Awards. The album, or as Drake calls it, a “playlist,” has moved over two millions units and set a bunch of streaming records, but Drizzy has decided to opt out of the possibility of receiving awards for it. This also goes for awards for any singles on the project.

Here’s what Associated Press wrote about it:

A person close to the nomination process, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not allowed to publicly talk about the topic, said the multi-platinum rapper did not submit “More Life” for album of the year or best rap album. The person also said Drake did not submit any of the songs from the album to categories like song of the year, record of the year or best rap song.

More Life was released in March this year, and featured everyone from Giggs to Young Thug.
