On the last day of SXSW, rumors were swirling that Drake would be hitting the stage at The FADER Fort and closing out the show, but nothing was confirmed until minutes before he actually got there. He was only asked to perform one song, but with the crowd going bezerk, he managed to perform multiple records and really leave everyone there with a story to go home to.
Among the tracks he performed: “Jumpman,” “Know Yourself,” “Back To Back” and “Energy,” teasing the crowd with news of an upcoming tour and updates about Views From The 6.
As Drake told the crowd, the album will be coming in a matter of weeks.
For those who didn’t make it to the event last night, here’s a short recap of how October’s Very Own took over the stage as the SXSW festivities came to a close.
