Drake Is Not on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for the First Time in Eight Years

In 2009, Drake entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the smash hit “Best I Ever Had” and he stayed there. For 431 consecutive weeks. Whether it was through his own tracks or on featured joints, the 6 God kept churning out hits. It’ll take a while for anyone to beat that record, considering the closest to it is Lil Wayne with 326 weeks.

Drizzy was hanging on for dear life with singles like “Passionfruit” and “Signs,” but both dropped out of the Hot 100 this week when the list was updated.

Although this particular eight-year stint is over, Aubrey has plenty of other Billboard records, including the most entries on the Hot 100 by a single artist in one week, the most consecutive weeks in the Top 10 by a male artist, the most charted songs in the Hot 100 of all time and more.

Just wait until he catches wind of the news. He’ll be back in the mix again.
