Sunday morning, Drake braced the world for his next VIEWS-inspired short film, Please Forgive Me. Coincidentally, his double-platinum album returned to the no. 1 spot on Billboard charts this weekend, after taking a seven-week layoff from its home.
The action-packed 23-minute films sees Drizzy starring alongside Kyla Reid, Soni Chidiebere, Fanny Neguesha, and Popcaan – using elements from various thriller and romantic films from year’s past.
Directed by Anthony Mandler (see: Over, Fancy and Miss Me) and original music scored by Noah “40” Shebib, the Boy heads to Soweto Township in South Africa to combine a story-line with music visual tales for “Hype,” “Controlla,” and the album-titled track “Views.”
If you enjoyed his “Jungle” 14-minute short film for If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, take a look at details on how to watch the 6-God partying with his girlfriend, automatic weapon fights and an epic explosion to conclude his latest visual experience.
