After using most of 2019 to spend time in the studio, rest from 2018’s Scorpion, and share a few loosies – The Boy returned back to social media to issue a warning shot.
After breaking our story last week about why he’s waiting until major artists like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole drop content in the coming months, Drake made it formal that he wants music smoke with whoever he’s being compared to. The line is taken from Benny the Butcher’s popular track, “Sunday School,” as both parties are looking to make collaboration plans official.
Considering he named his most recent single “War,” the next year should be interesting for every elite musician delivering content next year.
