When Drake‘s So Far Gone was originally dropped in 2009, it was released as a mixtape so never charted (the climate and rules were a lot different). Now, on its 10-year anniversary, the re-released version has now hit number five on the Billboard 200.
Following its release on February 15th, the project has managed to move 45,000 units, with 7,000 of those pure album sales. So Far Gone marks Drizzy’s 10th total and consecutive project in the top 10.
Despite the full So Far Gone tape never charting previously, a five-track So Far Gone EP did come out in 2009 and peaked at number six.
