Drake’s “Toosie Slide” Single Makes Historic No. 1 Debut

A run like this hasn’t been seen since Mariah Carey in 1995-97, but Drake has now become the first male artist to have debuted three songs at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is all thanks to his latest single “Toosie Slide.”

Thanks to this new achievement, Drizzy now has his seventh Hot 100 No. 1.

His other two No. 1 debuts were “God’s Plan” back in February of 2018 and “Nice for what,” which entered the charts on April of 2018.

Unfortunately for The Weeknd, his single “Blinding Lights” is booted from the top spot, after spending two weeks at No. 1 as reigning king.

The real question now is how long the song will spend at the top.
