After garnering so much success on the account of “Boo’d Up” blowing up a year after its release, Ella Mai follows up the hit single with another solid record. “Trip” will undoubtedly continue her run on radio and though it’s a stark contrast to her previous video, you can feel the emotions. In the clip, Ella starts out in an empty apartment, loading her own single on the turntable and getting in her feelings as she sings about a guy she’s tripping over. She’s literally the only one who shows up in the visual, as she sings in the passenger side of an SUV, inside her spot and out in a garden. She’s got it bad for this dude.
