After a week of hearing about the police vs. peaceful protesters in Ferguson, MO because of the tragedy against Mike Brown, it seems like the entire nation is beginning to take action and hit the streets. Yesterday, cities across the United States marched for the cause, showing that the 1st amendment still applies to the country. Just this morning, the Ferguson County police department identified the man who shot young Mike Brown, when people have been waiting days for justice. This comes one day after Missouri State Highway Patrol took over control in place of the Ferguson PD.
In light of the events happening this week, Elle Varner took to the booth to write an inspiring tune called “One Love,” that urges for peace, rather than violence.
