From Rae Sremmurd success to his own solo stuff, Swae Lee is really out here. He’s going a bit pop on “Close To Me,” as Ellie Goulding and Diplo connect with him on the single, and he doesn’t sound too far out of pocket either. His melodic tone fits the track perfect, even if you’re not into Ellie like that. If anything it just proves that Swae has big range musically and he can technically crossover into other genres if necessary.
