Eminem Sparks Album Rumors with Fake Drug Ads

If these fake drug ads are anything to go by, Eminem is about to release a new album very soon.

Em’s manager Paul Rosenberg posted an Instagram photo promoting Yelawolf’s new album Trial by Fire, but in the background was a suspicious drug advert called “Revival,” which features the backwards “E” from Eminem’s logo. The proper advert quickly surfaced online along with the website askaboutrevival.com. A disclaimer on the site reads “REVIVAL does not cause these side effects, but if you have them you should for sure seek medical attention, ‘I need a doctor,'” a reference to Dr. Dre and Eminem’s song “I Need a Doctor.”

There’s also a number for the “company,” 1-833-243-8738, which plays “I Need a Doctor” in the background, along with a voice saying “you only get one shot to beat AR” and “sweaty palms,” referencing “Lose Yourself” and “brain damage” from the Slim Shady LP song of the same name. Reddit users also found out that the campaign was placed by Em’s label, Interscope Records, according to a print ad directory.
