In a new interview with Variety, Eminem cosigned YBN Cordae and Young M.A. after being asked which new artists have impressed him. M.A. was featured on his Music to Be Murdered By album, and he also shouted out Griselda (of course), but this is the first time he’s mentioned Cordae.
“We had Young M.A. on the album, and she’s definitely one of the new artists that I’m super excited about — every time she puts something out, I listen,” Em said. “And the guys we have signed to our label, [Buffalo, N.Y. rap trio] Griselda, that’s exciting. YBN Cordae, he’s dope.”
Cordae did a remix of “My Name Is” back in 2018 (watch below), so he’ll be pleased to hear.
