Berkeley singer Emmit Fenn is sharing a video for his new single “Pouring Rain,” which sees him collaborating with Vic Mensa. In it, Vic spits two verses sitting on the window ledge, while Fenn plays the piano and sings the chorus.
“[Mensa] explained to me stories from Chicago growing up that he witnessed from multiple friends, and he wanted to combine those stories into verses,” Fenn told Complex. “Vic is one of the best storytellers in hip-hop, which he brought to life on this record.”
“Pouring Rain” is the first single off his upcoming album, The Gray Area.
