It was only a matter of time before Erykah Badu blessed NPR Music with her presence for a ‘Tiny Desk Concert.’ For the soulful and jazzy set, she put on stunning performances of two songs: “Rimshot” from Baduizm and “Green Eyes” from Mama’s Gun.
Badu individually introduced each of her band members, too. She was joined by RC Williams on keys, Braylon Lacy on bass, Cleon Edwards on drums, Frank Moka on percussion, Kenneth Whalum on sax, Keyon Harrold on trumpet and Dwayne Kerr on flute.
