Estelle made her big return to music, but not in the way you’d expect. She actually took a left turn on her usual R&B and pop music to dabble in reggae with Lover’s Rock. Alongside artists like Chronixx, Konshens, HoodCelebrityy and others, the UK songstress experiments with a new sound across the 14 tracks on the effort, slowing things down and going the club route on a number of records. The range in her sound still varies, but she certainly hit the zone a few times on here. It’s something different and in no way does that mean it’s not good.
