Sometimes you get the best pieces of information when you don’t expect and Fabolous was up at The Breakfast Club recently and shared a story about Beyonce stepping up to him about his lyrics. In his new interview at POWER 105, he was talking about reality TV, when he said that his This Is No Competition 2 line “Cause if you could have Beyoncé, would you take Solange” bar was heard by the people in it.
At the 36-minute mark, Fab says that Bey pressed him and though he didn’t share the exact conversation, he realized his pen can cause hurt to others when you least expect it and he eventually apologized to Solange for the lyrics.
She wasn’t having it at the time, but he said sorry and shit was squashed.
