March 9 was the anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s passing. It was also the day Timbaland and Swizz Beatz announced their TRILLER Network partnership for VERZUZ.
During a celebration party on Instagram, Fat Joe jumped in on the festivities and revealed some surprising news for Biggie’s anniversary. According to Joey Crack, before B.I.G.’s death, the two were working on a joint album together. They were five songs in and dissing 2pac crazy on there.
Swizz and Timbo also gave their own Biggie stories as well.
If they album would have been released, it would have definitely caused more drama and controversy, seeing as how the East Coast and West Coast beef was in full swing at the time. Will the songs ever see the light of day, though? Probably not. According to Joe, Diddy can confirm this project as well.
