When you first press play on this, it sounds like something from good kid m.A.A.d city, no lie. After giving it a full test run, you realize it doesn’t quite fit the mood for the album like that, but at the least, it makes you curious to what these two have in the stash. I’m assuming Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus are pushing the boundaries within the genres with the tracks they cooked up. It’s interesting to hear what the two came up with for “Never Catch Me.”
I can’t wait to see what visuals Flying Lotus are on deck for You’re Dead either. That’s word to last year’s Until The Quiet Comes short film.
