FORBES: Hip-Hop Cash Kings 2016

Find out who became the KANG of Forbes in Hip-Hop this year!

With fall nearing, FORBES is back to close out the year with their annual hip-hop highest earners lists. Here, we have the official Cash Kings 2016 list, which reveals a similar list of names and a few new faces. As you would expect, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is still the highest earner for the year, after dethroning Dr. Dre’s Beats run two years to pull in $62 million for the last twelve months.

Thanks to his Cîroc vodka deal, other non-musical ventures and current Bad Boy Reunion Tour, this was enough for the uptown mogul to once again claim his spot on the throne. Speaking of which, JAY Z ranked in second at $53.5 million, which was highlighted by his Roc Nation entertainment and sports company, Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Ussé cognac among other businesses.

While Dr. Dre was able to remain a top 3 hip-hop earner for the year after the release of his Straight Outta Compton biopic, he’s still enjoying the highest single-year payday in history for any living celebrity, when he sold Beats Music to Apple for $620 million nearly two years ago.

Take a look at the full list below after you watch the brief clip above.
