Meet the Hip-Hop Cash Princes 2017!

With the second quarter of 2017 nearing, FORBES examines current movements in music to share their latest class of Hip-Hop Cash Princes. Through various staff members, Kendrick Lamar’s manager Dave Free, Too Short and Little Simz; the publication decided on who was eligible to quality as a prince/ss under the age of 30 – and who hasn’t previously appeared on this list.

As expected, Desiigner headlines the collective of artists, after generating acclaim last year for his hit-single Panda,” as well as contributions to Kanye West’s Pablo album. While the southern, east coast and mid-west regions had a strong presence of acts for the cash princes, international acts like Toronto’s Tory Lanez and the UK’s Stormzy were also some of the standout names.
