The ladies dominate the top 5 in the world!

Last holiday, Taylor Swift wrapped up North America’s most successful music tour ever, as she surpassed a previous record held by the Rolling Stones. The 85-date 1989 World Tour generated $254.9 million at the gate; however, endorsements from Keds, Diet Coke and Apple were enough for the pop—star to pull in $170 million during this FORBES period. This makes Swift the highest-paid musician and celebrity of any stripe in the entire world – take that in for a second.

Rounding out the top five was Rihanna, Madonna, Adele and One Direction, who all were on the road as well. Take a look below at the complete list of this year’s top-earners in the world of music.
