As expected, Frank Ocean has released his second new project of the week, now known as Blonde.
It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Frank Ocean fans. Earlier this month, he teased samples of new music on a live stream, which showed him building a staircase in a workshop. The stream was all used as promotion for his visual project Endless, which he released just yesterday. In the early hours of this morning, Frank dropped off a video for a new song called “Nikes.” Now, after announcing sudden pop-up shops in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and London, giving away copies of his magazine with his other new album inside, he’s released the project online.
Blonde is the album previously known as Boys Don’t Cry, and features 17 new tracks. Credits include André 3000, The Beatles, Beyoncé, Brian Eno, David Bowie, Elliott Smith, James Blake, Jonny Greenwood, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell and many others (full list below).
