Frank Ocean is cover star of the latest GQ issue, which comes with an interview with his Blonded Radio co-hosts, Vegyn and Emmett Cruddas.
In the conversation, Frank discusses why his made his Instagram public, his approach to cover songs like “At Your Best…,” “Close to You” and “Moon River,” his latest inspirations, what he likes about living in New York, his New Year’s resolution and much more.
“I feel like there was dissonance between how I was seen by the audience and where I was actually, so that contributed to the decision to make my Instagram public, for sure,” he said. “But there’s also the idea of dialogue and discourse and conversation—like theater where the audience can interrupt you versus the television.”
