Rapper Freddie Gibbs was the next artist to stop by Mass Appeal for their “Off Tha Wall” interview series. The Gary, Indiana native opens up on his early surroundings and reveals his first album he copped was the Geto Boys “We Can’t Be Stopped” on cassette tape since his Uncle Greg wouldn’t allow him to listen to hardcore rap at the time. He then went on to open up about a fashion trend he participated in back in the day being the backwards clothing wave Kris Kross had kids doing during the early 90s.
